well the new blonde is brunette, and everyone is getting bangs and using natural wavy hair....welll long hair is in....thats why all celeberities get extensions, so if you cut it, cut it to get rid of split or dead ends...a good length for your hair should be longer than your shoulders...and if your planning to get bangs it depends on the shap of your face..i wouldn't cut much and if you do don't cut it shorter than your chest area.

My hair is dark brown almost black, my eyes are brown , and my skin is exactly how you describe yours. what I would suggest, is don't cut you hair, not unless you feel you really want to. My hair is just to my shoulders, but I am growing it longer. What you should do is yes, trim it, then layer it,and also, bangs, sideswept across your face, are awesome with long dark hair and our type of complexiion that you are describing. It has a very sultry and hot look if you blow dry your hair to give it voume, and use a curl brush to flip it out and give it waves when you blow dry. put some product in you hair before you blow dry, that way when it's dry, the style stays, without mounds of hairspray. you can use a curling iron for definition of shapes and flipping out the layers. this is a great look for you. believe me. Good luck!
