Hair Styles for new moms?

i want to cut it medium length but after that i don't know exactly what style. i kind of like jenny mccarthy's long bob. what do you think? im due in february and i want it cut immediately after. keep in mind that it'll be a blonde/brown color.

I wanted to answer this question with a comment. I recently had my baby boy (October 19th) and had grown my hair out for two years. I was tired of it and wanted a cute long bob cuz I was tired of wearing pony tails, etc. Well, I cut my hair off and have regretted it ever since. What a pain in the butt it has been since my son is born to actually have time to blow dry and properly style my angled bob. I regret ever cutting my hair because what would have been ideal since his birth was being able to pull it up or back into a pony tail. That is what is simplest and low maintenance, versus a style that you have to maintain. Just from experience, if it matters, I would say maybe you should wait until after the baby comes and is a few months old so you know how much time you will have each day for your hair. Then, I would definitely say go for the long super angled bob, like Posh Spice. It's a great hairstyle and my personal favorite. But, I'm sooooooooooooo missing my long hair. :)

that cut sounds nice. i've seen her hair and it looks really pretty.

keep in mind that you may lose a lot of hair a few months after you deliver, so pick a style that adds some volume! i lost lots of hair about 4 months after my son was born.

Wow, I was thinking about Jenny McCarthy's bob too! Honestly, I don't think mothers will have much time to care for their hair so getting a short bob or pixie cut will be best in my opinion. Good luck and congratulations!

Anything where you can still pull it back. And you really should get it cut before you deliver. You won't have much time after.

i would wait. you're likely to lose some hair after the baby due to hormonal changes. if you want a change, i'd do it now.

don't cut it immediately after, wait a few months. your hair will probably start falling out, and you'll eventually get new growth. so you'll need to know how much hair you'll have left to cut/style - it may even start to grow in a new texture. hormones are wierd like that.
