What can I do with my long, very fine hair?

I have very long, fine hair and would like to keep it long. I also don't have a lot of time to style it, but would like it to look a little fuller. How can I give my hair more body without spending hours on it and ruining it with multiple products, etc?

I have the same problem, and have found that the products to increase volume , for the most part, do a great job with little to no damage. I use high volume shampoo, conditioner, and gel. I also pray a lot. So I guess I'm not sure which can take the credit. Good Luck!

Sunsilk shampoo

Use mousse while your hair is still wet. Bend your head upside down the dry the roots and about half way down the hair. Flip it back over and scrunch the ends until dry. Don't comb it, just finger place your hair. Oh! Spray it with hair spray while flipped upside down, wait a few seconds to dry and then flip back up. Then finger place hair. You'll love it!

i must mention your really lucky lady! well to make your hair look fuller you can use a little garnier xxl mousse and blow dry your hair..this product really works well..rest if you dont wanna use any products just flip your hair in sections and give the ends an inturn using a round brush and a dryer.

Use volumizing shampoo, and they make this mousse that is volumizing too. Put the mousse on after the shower while it is still wet and blow dry while brushing your hair upward to get the lift you need. If it is real long, you might want to think about getting an inch or so taken off.

first of all.hair is weight..the longer it is, the more it will 'hang' .how long is long? how tall are you? hair length should be in proportion to your height; if you are, say, under 5 ft 5inches, longer hair drags you down; a good overall length is slightly longer than the jawline, to give you something to work with....the other responses regarding products are very good, so look to those for some help...also get it trimmed every 6 to 8 weeks. by a reputable stylist...keep the ends blunt and it will help with flyaways....spend the money on good cuts/trims and you'll never go wrong........

You may love long hair, but you need to cut off some, start using a hair product that adds body like Motions CPR leave in hair treatment, don't wash your hair too often, give it 3 weeks tops to wash your hair. Most importantly see a hair stylist to recommend the best solution for your hair.

That's what I did with my long, thin hair.

Good Luck!

I would put long layers in it and layer it towards your face , you dont need to curl your hair when its layered it should look fine with little product or heat it will make your hair look and feel alot fuller. make sure you go to a stylist thats been doing hair for awhile....................good luck

How about some long layers? Might give it some body and shape.

You could get your hair cut to a shoulder-length style w/ tons of layers added, also colouring your hair adds texture and lots of body :)

I let my hair almost dry, then I put in a light mousse and use flexible fabric curlers that snap at the ends (15-20 min). They're comfy enough I sleep just fine with them. Then in the am take out your curlers tossle and go! It's full and bouncy!

Remember your hair keeps the shape it has when it cools so if you blowdry be sure to blow cold air on it when you finish or your hair will go flat.
